CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (March 8, 2014) – Swati Dandekar’s congressional campaign (IA CD-01) visited fifteen county conventions within the first Iowa congressional district Saturday, with Dandekar personally appearing in four counties. Dandekar says talking with delegates around the district was top priority for her campaign.

“Swati Dandekar announced Thursday she  has received the endorsement of the John Deere Political Action Committee.

John Deere is the world’s largest manufacturer of agricultural equipment, and the largest employer in Iowa’ U.S. House 1st District, with major facilities in both Waterloo and Dubuque.

“None of them called for repeal, but some of the Democrats running in Iowa’s 1st District called for “major modifications” in their party’s signature congressional accomplishment of recent years – the Affordable Care Act.
